Leibnizschule

Zietenring 9

Felix Genzmer planned the Leibnizschule on Zietenring and his successor the Urban Planning Inspector Friedrich Grün built the school as a Oberrealschule in 1903-1905, a school where Latin was not taught.

Emperor Wilhelm II gave this type of school the same status as the Gymnasium in November 1900.

The building has three floors and consists of three wings which form the eastern perimeter of the open schoolyard. The building is a brick structure with white stucco and features simplified Gothic forms.
