Practical information

Where can I hire a bike? And where can I find good route planners for Wiesbaden and the Rheingau? All information at a glance.

Bike rental "Der Radler" in Wiesbaden

From a short shopping trip into the city to a big excursion - at "Der Radler" at the main station you will find the right bike with accessories. You can choose between sporty and comfortable models. And if Wiesbaden is too steep for cycling, you can easily ride an e-bike.

Reservations can be made by e-mail to der-radlerbauhaus-wiesbadende, stating the desired bike, number of bikes and date. Reservations must be made at least three days in advance. Please bring your identity card with you when renting!

Quellgeflüster tip: Der Radler offers free guided bike tours (opens in a new tab), including free use of bikes (subject to availability and excluding e-bikes).

Rheingau Riesling Wheel in Rüdesheim

Rheingau Riesling Rad offers over 60 e-bikes and 200 comfortable touring and city bikes. Here you will be advised, fitted and after a short briefing you can set off on an exciting tour through the Rheingau on two wheels!

The bike depot is located in Rüdesheim. You can start your tours from there or have the bikes delivered to a hotel within the Rheingau, for example. Rheingau Riesling Rad will be happy to recommend tours of all levels of difficulty and provide you with picnic backpacks and good wines, saddlebags or child trailers.
