Pottery at the Clay Circle Wiesbaden
If you’re in Wiesbaden and looking for a creative break, you should stop by Clay Circle Wiesbaden. This small pottery studio, run by three friends from Wiesbaden, offers everything related to pottery—for beginners and pros alike.
At the studio, you can learn to throw pottery on the wheel, build ceramic pieces by hand, let your creativity run wild during open studio time, or even host your own events. Pottery together, laugh, experiment, and take home a new favorite piece at the end.
Since space is limited, it’s best to book courses and dates in advance.

Linocuts & miniature worlds at Detailreich
Detailreich is a café in Wiesbaden where indulgence and creativity come together. Over coffee and cake, you can take a little break: by designing jewelry or shrink-wrap pendants, you can get creative on the spot—no prior experience required.
For those who want to dive deeper, Detailreich offers workshops like linocut printing or miniature building with more time and guidance.
Whether alone or with others: the point here is to briefly let go of everyday life, strike up a conversation with others, and go home with something you’ve made yourself.

Pottery workshop at ILE 22
Sabine Wittmann's workshops are simply wonderful - and very popular, so book early! They consist of two evening sessions on which you come to the workshop alone or with friends. From 7 to 9.30 p.m. you make pottery together with Sabine. You don't need any previous knowledge!
During this time, beginners (with two left hands) will create two to three vessels, a cup or a figurine, and the more experienced may be able to make a little more. After a drying time of ten to 14 days, your works will be fired. Glazing takes place on the second day - Sabine Wittmann has around a hundred glazes in all colors and shades, matt, semi-gloss, glossy, with and without inclusions, elaborate with mica, but also very subtle. The pieces are then fired again and are ready for you to pick up or ship!
