Beautiful
In the sequel to Karoline Herfurth's dramatic comedy, some new characters are added to the familiar ones, such as Anneke Kim Sarnau as a successful businesswoman whose husband cheats on her with an extremely young call girl, and Anja Kling as an anti-feminist TV presenter. Second parts are rarely better than first parts, and this one is. Although all the female characters in the once again first-class ensemble are struggling with conflicts that have to do with the system, the core issue is defining oneself as a woman and freeing oneself from society's expectations. And once again, it succeeds uniquely in both treating the important issues seriously and entertaining with lightness and joie de vivre.

Not an animal. So wild.
Burhan Qurbani (BERLIN ALEXANDERPLATZ) completely reinterprets William Shakespeare's "Richard III" and relocates the story to the Berlin of today: on the streets of Berlin, the two large Arab families York and Lancaster fight for supremacy in the city. Rashida York, lawyer and youngest daughter of the York clan, of all people, helps her family to triumph with an attack on the heads of the Lancasters. However, as a woman, she has no chance of rising to the top. But Rashida continues to dream of becoming head of the clan and begins to spin intrigues.
Atmospherically dense, intense in content, visually austere and with precisely honed dialog, KEIN TIER. SO WILD. leads us into a world that seems familiar and yet is strange and alien: right into the middle of a relentless war between two families, in which the youngest daughter of one of them brutally and regardless of losses makes her way to the top with intrigue and murder - only to pay a high price in the end. The film celebrated its world premiere at the 75th Berlin International Film Festival.

Greetings from Mars
Tom is certain: he is going to be an astronaut. But before he can be the first person to fly to Mars, he still has to master the upcoming mission at Grandma and Grandpa's house in the country. Not an easy task, because Tom's life has to follow very clear rules: The 10-year-old is overwhelmed by change, noise and the color red. The kind but chaotic grandparents live in a completely different cosmos, where you can still get by without Wi-Fi. Equipped with a spacesuit and logbook and together with his older siblings, Tom embarks on an adventure.
