Admittedly, most wedding couples don't really dare to tackle the subject yet. However, winter weddings are currently becoming more and more trendy and offer many advantages over weddings in the popular summer months.

Situated at an altitude of around 500 meters, chances are good that even a white fairytale wedding á la "Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella" can be celebrated here in the snow. Surrounded by forests and meadows, the view of and from the Platte hunting lodge is particularly picturesque.
So while it's cold and wintry outside, you can make yourself comfortable in the hunting lodge - everything you need for this special day is compactly located within the atmospheric walls, which are equipped with underfloor heating.

A Renaissance building dating back to 1826 and the former autumn residence of the ducal family of Nassau, Platte Hunting Lodge was destroyed down to its outer walls during the Second World War. However, the modern architecture turned the ruins into an event location with character and a unique atmosphere: the imposing glass roof provides light-flooded rooms and, in combination with the exposed brickwork, gives the historic building a modern twist. Surrounded by woods and meadows as well as the wonderful panoramic view of Wiesbaden and the surrounding area round off this location highlight. High up on the wooded "Platte", Jagdschloss Platte is surrounded by greenery, but at the same time has excellent access from Wiesbaden via Platter Straße.
Due to its two open floors and nested rooms, the castle is also suitable for smaller parties of 50 people or more up to large celebrations with 600 guests and is therefore booked exclusively by bridal couples - their own wedding is the focus of the location on this special day.
