Cornelia Rößler was born in Munich and studied in Mainz and Amsterdam. She has received numerous awards, including the NEUSTARTplus grant from the Kunstfonds Foundation; the Schöppingen Artists’ Village Foundation; the Kunstverein Röderhof e. V.; the Sandarbh International Artist-in-Residence program in Partapur, India; the ZONTA-Mainz Art Prize; the Löwenhofer Prize, Frankfurt am Main; the Rhineland-Palatinate State Scholarship, Burgundy; and the Art Prize from the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women, and Youth. She has had numerous exhibitions both in Germany and abroad.
