Marcelo Brodsky is today one of Latin America’s most significant artists. As a photographer, visual artist, and international human rights activist, his work focuses in particular on visual language and memory. The Kunsthaus will present a selection of his works from March 26 to June 28, 2026.

Human rights violations have been and remain a central theme in Marcelo Brodsky’s art. Marcelo Brodsky gained international recognition with his series “Buena Memoria” (1997), which addresses the deportation and murder of some of his classmates and his brother Fernando Brodsky during the military dictatorship in Argentina. Further series followed, including “1968 – The Fire of Ideas,” “Africa in the Struggle for Freedom,” “Migrants,” and “Traces of Violence.” The Kunsthaus presents a selection of his works.
