Barrier-free offers

The Kunsthaus regularly offers barrier-free guided tours of the exhibitions for the visually impaired and sighted, as well as artist talks and guided tours with sign language interpreters.

Fabian Lilian Korner with Ester Popper in the exhibition

Accessible guided tours for the visually impaired and sighted visitors are offered regularly in conjunction with the exhibitions. During these tours, sighted visitors learn what it is like to experience the exhibition from the perspective of people with visual impairments. Fabian Lilian Korner and Esther Poppe, a cultural mediator, both of whom are committed to promoting inclusive culture, convey the content of the exhibitions through multisensory means.

The program is complemented by guided tours for the deaf and hard of hearing led by sign language interpreter Karim Abedi.

The tours are free of charge. Registration is required.

The next accessible tour for people with visual impairments and sighted visitors through the exhibition "Memory in Action: Marcelo Brodsky" will take place on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 2 p.m. Register at bildende.kunstwiesbadende
