RMCC positions itself as a leading location for healthcare events

With the German Rheumatology Congress 2025 from 17 to 20 September, the RheinMain CongressCenter (RMCC) in Wiesbaden will once again become the focus of the medical event world. Around 4,000 participants from research, clinics and practice are expected to attend the annual conference in Wiesbaden.

The German Society for Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology and the Rheuma Academy are delighted to be hosting the German Rheumatology Congress 2025 at the RheinMain CongressCenter. Thanks to the professional service, state-of-the-art conference technology and the very appealing ambience, we were quickly convinced that we had found the "perfect" partner for our annual scientific conference. Coupled with the flair of Wiesbaden, the good transport connections, the variety of special venues and the perfect location of the RMCC in the city, we can only recommend the location,

Guide for healthcare organizers

The Convention Wiesbaden team has developed a special guide for healthcare events at the RMCC to provide the best possible support for organizers of medical congresses, such as PCOs, associations or agencies. It contains practical recommendations for planning and highlights the particular strengths of the event venue in Wiesbaden:

  • Excellent accessibility of the RMCC - in close proximity to the main train station, 20 minutes to Frankfurt Airport.

  • Flexibility & technology with business character - from the large plenary hall to workshop rooms, equipped with state-of-the-art event technology with a clear focus on business events.

  • Compliance expertise - trained team that knows the requirements of the FSA code and provides comprehensive advice to event organizers. Additional award as "Healthcare Venue".

  • Many years of experience with medical congresses at the Wiesbaden healthcare location, which is of international importance due to the German Clinic for Diagnostics (DKD) and the Helios HSK Clinic as well as the German headquarters of AbbVie and Abbott.

  • Sustainability - including Green Globe and DGNB Platinum certification as well as CO₂-reduced operation.

Kurhaus Wiesbaden as an additional evening location

Traditionally, medical organizers in Wiesbaden not only use the RMCC for the scientific congress, but also the Kurhaus Wiesbaden (opens in a new tab) for festive evening events.

The Rheumatology Congress 2025 will also feature an atmospheric congress evening in the historic Kurhaus - all in compliance with the FSA Code of Conduct.

Strong location for medical congresses / Outlook

With the German Rheumatology Congress, Wiesbaden is continuing its positioning as a leading location for healthcare events.

Over the course of the year, the RMCC has already hosted top-class medical events - including the Internist Congress, which is one of the largest and most important medical congresses in Germany, the German Radiology Congress and the PharmaCongress Production & Technology. The Spine Congress will return to Wiesbaden in December 2025 and the Allergy Congress will be held at the RMCC in 2026.

The RMCC has also gained a new customer from the veterinary sector: The bpt Congress, one of the most renowned continuing education events for practicing veterinarians in German-speaking countries, will meet in Wiesbaden for the first time in November 2025.
