Hesse's longest monument is located in Dotzheim: This is the starting station of the historic Nassau Tourist Railway, which is now operated as a museum railroad on the route of the former Aartalbahn and attracts railroad enthusiasts from near and far. To the north and northwest, Dotzheim is mainly defined by the wooded Hochtaunus - Hohe Wurzel and Schläferskopf - and by the valley complex of the Weilburger Tal leading from there to the south, which is also listed in the "Rund um Wiesbaden" hiking tours. Visitors from Germany and abroad also come to Dotzheim to visit Freudenberg Castle with its "Field of Experience for the Senses" exhibition.
