Theatrium 2026
One of the oldest and most popular festivals in Wiesbaden, the Theatrium, attracts visitors to the "Rue" in 2026 from Friday to Sunday, June 12 to 14, with music, shows and lots of delicacies.
For three whole days, from Friday through Sunday, June 12–14, 2026, celebrations will take place on and around Wilhelmstraße: A total of 240 food stalls along Wilhelmstraße, Burgstraße, around the Hotel Nassauer Hof, on Bowling Green, and on Warmer Damm will offer culinary delights from around the world. In addition, street performers will provide great entertainment.
Arena of Skills of the DFL
In 2026, the Theatrium will also feature a new interactive area in front of the Nassauer Hof: For the first time, the “Arena of Skills” from the DFL (German Football League), the DFL Foundation, and Sporthilfe will be part of the event. Families will also get their money’s worth this year in the new, even larger Toggo-Kinderland in the Kurpark: Attractive offerings provide the youngest guests with play modules and hands-on activities, as well as an entertaining program on the Showtruck stage.
Toggo-Kinderland
Families are sure to have a great time this year at the new, even larger Toggo-Kinderland in the spa gardens: exciting activities await our youngest guests, including play areas, hands-on activities, and an entertaining program on the Showtruck stage.

Arts and crafts market
When selecting the approximately 75 artisans, priority is given to local artists, in part to ensure the shortest possible travel distance. Sustainability also plays a role in the food offerings at the approximately 170 vendor stands: As has already been the practice at the Sternschnuppenmarkt, vendors have committed to using reusable tableware or recyclable, biodegradable disposable tableware, among other measures.

History
In 1977, the Theatrium was launched to mark the reopening of the renovated Hessian State Theater. The following year, parts of Wilhelmstraße were closed off for the first time—the event became the “Wilhelmstraße Festival,” which has evolved into a true “classic” over the years. In 2025, it will be celebrated for the 46th time.
