Taunus Street Festival
From Friday through Sunday, August 28–30, the red carpet will once again be rolled out at the Taunus Street Festival. The festivities will feature live music, culinary delights, and guided tours.
Every year, the red carpet is rolled out along a stretch of just under 300 meters to celebrate the Taunus Street Festival. Visitors stroll along it, explore the diverse offerings of the shops, or indulge in culinary delights at festively set tables. From August 28 to 30, the festival will celebrate its 21st anniversary this year.
White pavilions, lively music along the entire festival route, and a varied program make the Taunusstraße a special experience. Live music and a fashion show on stage provide entertainment, while historical city tours and face painting for children round out the offerings for the whole family.
A classic feature of the Taunusstraße Festival is the red carpet tour. The date will be announced at a later time.
What began in 2003 as a marketing campaign for the business owners and restaurants on Taunusstraße has long since evolved into one of Wiesbaden’s most beautiful and popular street festivals. Organized by the “In der Taunusstraße e. V.” initiative, the street is transformed once a year into a lively festival area, inviting visitors to stroll, enjoy themselves, and linger.
