Citizens' office

The citizens' office of the state capital of Wiesbaden is your central point of contact for registration and passport matters. In addition to the location in the city center, the local administrations also provide many of these services.

Here you can apply for an identity card or passport, register or deregister your place of residence, obtain a registration certificate or apply for a certificate of good conduct.

We are available for you
The citizens' office is located at Marktstraße 18 (behind the old town hall).

Personal availability
We are happy to be there for you in person, but only work by appointment. It's quick and easy to make an appointment at the Citizens' Office online (opens in a new tab).

Note on booking appointments

When making an appointment, please select all the services you require. The appointment times are precisely coordinated with the respective processing.

If you have several requests, these must be entered in full when booking so that we can schedule sufficient time for your appointment.

If not all services are selected correctly, we will unfortunately not be able to guarantee processing. This also leads to delays in the process - to the detriment of citizens who keep their appointments on time and have booked their requests completely and correctly. We would like to avoid this.

Thank you for your understanding and your help!
