Citizens' office

The citizens' office of the state capital of Wiesbaden is your central point of contact for registration and passport matters. In addition to the location in the city center, the local administrations also provide many of these services.

Here you can apply for an identity card or passport, register or deregister your place of residence, obtain a registration certificate or apply for a certificate of good conduct.

!!! ATTENTION, ATTENTION, ATTENTION !!!

Due to a software change, the services of the Citizens' Office will only be available to a very limited extent during the changeover phase.

Therefore, please note the special opening hours in the citizens' office and in the local administrations from June 16 to 23, 2025. Further information can be found here (opens in a new tab).

ACTION IN THE CITIZENS' OFFICE

To the citizens' office without an appointment? Do you need a passport or want to re-register? Then you have the opportunity to do so on 21.06.2025! Without an appointment - but important - by prior arrangement!

Due to the change in procedure, the Citizens' Office is looking for volunteer testers who would like to be the first customers. Here you can support the project and deal with your concerns at the same time.

If you are interested, please register by June 16, 2025 at serviceleitungwiesbadende
