Wiesbaden City Festival 2026

Under the motto “Your City. Your Stage,” the Wiesbaden City Festival will be held from Friday through Sunday, September 25–27. Highlights include the fall market, the harvest festival, Sunday shopping, and the concert featuring Mupani x Kelvin Jones on Saturday.

Streets become miles of celebration and enjoyment

At the autumn market in the pedestrian zone, on the Dern'schen grounds and at six activity and play areas spread across the city center, you can enjoy, feast and shop for three days. Well-known bands provide the best entertainment on all days.

Fall market

Around 60 stalls in the pedestrian zone and on Mauritiusplatz offer high-quality arts and crafts, jewelry, ceramics, leather goods, textiles, basketry and autumnal flower arrangements. Guests can enjoy selected specialties, delicacies and fine wines from an Eltville winery at the autumn market. An extensive stage program awaits on Mauritiusplatz.

On Saturday, the musical highlight of the city festival awaits at the Dern’schen Gelände: From 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., the Baba Shrimp Band will set the mood with German indie pop for the main concert featuring Mupani x Kelvin Jones. From 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., the Zimbabwean-British singer-songwriter will deliver a special concert evening in the heart of the city. The concert is made possible exclusively through the support of sponsors Nassauische Sparkasse, Helaba, and DAL Deutsche Anlagen-Leasing.

Open Sunday

The Wiesbaden wunderbar advertising association and the city's tradespeople invite you to an open Sunday on Sunday, September 27, from 1 to 6 pm. Numerous stores in the historic pentagon will be open for relaxed shopping away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life - an ideal occasion for an autumnal stroll through the city.

Harvest festival on the Warmen Damm

On Saturday and Sunday, the harvest festival will be celebrated on the Warmen Damm. The traditional farmers' market opens its doors from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Farmers from the region present themselves together with clubs, associations and agricultural offices. This year's special highlight is the new straw couch, which invites visitors to relax and take souvenir photos together in front of a lovingly designed photo backdrop.

For the 36th time, the park will be transformed into a small village full of life - with the sound of hunting horns, dance groups and live music. In addition, craftspeople provide exciting insights into traditional techniques such as woodturning, chair weaving and blacksmithing.

Wiesbaden Auto Show

At the 37th Wiesbaden Auto Show, eleven car dealerships affiliated with the regional automotive guild will showcase the latest models and cutting-edge technologies. A varied program of activities awaits families. On Sunday, September 27, a career booth will offer visitors the opportunity to learn about apprenticeship programs and job openings from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Arrival

On shopping Sundays, all visitors can use public transportation within the Wiesbaden city limits for free. In the municipal parking garages at Mauritiusgalerie, Theater, Luisenplatz, and City, as well as at the Paulinenhang parking lot, a flat parking rate of one euro per entry applies from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Those arriving by bike can park their bikes for free and securely on Saturday and Sunday at the ADFC bike rack at the Dern’schen Gelände. Right next to it, “Der Radler” offers a free bike check.
