In 1861, local officials relocated the Delkenheim Cemetery from the center to the southeast of the historic town center, where the new site was subsequently expanded several times. Of the oldest part, only sections of the perimeter wall made of Hochheim limestone remain, as well as the area accessed by main paths running along the longitudinal and transverse axes.

Notable along the eastern wall is the simple, undated gravestone of the Kleber family of village mayors, which likely dates from the 1850s. Here, too, the row of old linden and chestnut trees planted along the entrance—now visible from afar—is characteristic of the village cemeteries in the region.
