The cemetery is located in the northwest of Dotzheim on the slope of the Weißer Berg. To create the planned cemetery grounds, dense old forest had to be cleared; this forest still picturesquely surrounds the Dotzheim Cemetery today. The war memorial erected here in 1928 is considered by connoisseurs to be the most beautiful in Hesse-Nassau.
