Karl Lehr, the mayor of Schierstein, was buried
at the Schierstein Cemetery in 1907. A street in Schierstein was also named after him. There is a Jewish section, but it is locked. The key is kept by the cemetery staff. In addition, another Jewish cemetery between Schierstein and Walluf is co-managed. This one is also not accessible. An araucaria, also known as an Andean pine, grows along the wall facing Elbestraße. In the memorial field for both world wars, there is a memorial stone for the victims of World War I.
