9th Klarenthaler High-Rise Run

On Saturday, August 29, the ninth Klarenthal High-Rise Run will begin at 2 p.m. at Hermann-Brill-Straße 11. Anyone who is at least ten years old and wants to take on this athletic challenge can climb the 192 steps to the twelfth floor of the high-rise building.

The Klarenthal High-Rise Run is organized jointly by the Klarenthal Children’s, Youth, and Community Center, “Moja – Association for the Promotion of Mobile Youth Work, Inc.,” the Volksbildungswerk Klarenthal, Inc., 1. SC Klarenthal, the Klarenthal Associations Umbrella Organization, Inc., and Nassauische Heimstätte.

The race will be divided into five age groups. In the younger age groups, results will be tallied separately for girls and boys. In addition to the athletic competition, the focus is on the fun of sharing the experience, meeting others in the neighborhood, and strengthening community ties. 

All runners will receive a certificate as well as food and drink vouchers. The top three finishers in each category will also receive gift certificates. The awards ceremony is scheduled for around 4:00 p.m. Spectators are also warmly welcome; drinks, snacks, coffee, and cake will be available for them.
