Open day at the Mainz-Kastel district library

On Saturday, November 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., you are invited to an open day at the new Mainz-Kastel district library.

View into the district library

Following intensive renovation work, the Mainz-Kastel district library has opened at its new location. It offers users a better quality of stay thanks to more space for study areas and events. A lounge area with lounge furniture provides space for leisurely reading. New consoles allow gaming for young people to be offered on site. In the medium term, an English-language media collection is to be established.
