Voix là - simply harmonious!
The concert with the duo "Voix là - einfach stimmig!" will celebrate the instrument of the year - the voice - on Saturday, November 8, at 7.30 pm in the Mauritius Mediathek.
The German-French duo "What's Behind" with Élodie Brochier (voice) and Johannes Schmitz (guitar) explores the diversity of the musical world of the Middle Ages, from courtly poetry to traditional melodies - surprising, contemporary and lively.
The vocal performer Silvia Sauer (voice, live electronics) explores the variety of sounds of the human voice as an instrument and alternates fluently between her own songs and free improvisations.
All three love the lively and surprising moment in music. That is why there is also room for musical encounters with each other in this concert.
This concert celebrates the "Instrument of the Year 2025": the voice - the oldest instrument in the world, and everyone has it!
Admission is free.
