Children can explore writing on their own using ink, quills, bamboo and reed pens, envelopes, pencils, and all kinds of paper, as well as reading and writing games, letter stamps, and a Freinet printing press. Preschoolers can try their hand at writing, and schoolchildren can compose their first texts. In a relaxed atmosphere free of evaluation, children experience writing as something that’s fun.

Preschool groups and school classes can reserve the writing workshop for independent use at the City and Music Library in the Mauritius Media Center without a scheduled program.
