Reading aloud for kids
The Mauritius Mediathek at Hochstättenstraße 6-10 offers a reading program for children of kindergarten and primary school age every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month from 10.30 to 11.30 am.
In cooperation with the "Read with me" project of Mitinitiative e. V., the Wiesbaden Volunteer Center and the city libraries, there are regular reading aloud events in which trained readers introduce children to the colorful world of reading.
Read aloud for 30 minutes in small groups, divided according to age. The reading sessions often have a special theme, such as fairy tales or stories of encouragement. Occasionally, there are also special offers such as multilingual readings or accompaniment by a sign language interpreter. All children are invited, regardless of disability.
Readings are held every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month from 10.30 to 11.30 a.m. for children of kindergarten and primary school age.
