Poster for Sunset & Sound

Sunset & Sound is conceived as a long-term, curated boutique festival that is constantly evolving. The goal is to establish an event that stands for special moments, is produced to a high standard, emotionally staged, and creates a unique atmosphere.

Musically, the festival focuses on house music, which seamlessly transitions into tech house as the evening progresses. Inspired by international open-air clubs and Mediterranean vibes, a consistent atmosphere is created—from warm grooves in the afternoon to more driving beats in the evening.

About the location

Sunset & Sound will take place on August 15, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM at one of the city’s most iconic venues: the concert shell in Wiesbaden’s Kurpark. This centrally located open-air venue combines historic architecture with an urban festival vibe and offers a unique setting right on the water.

For Sunset & Sound, a high-quality open-air stage is being designed, which is intentionally extended slightly beyond the concert shell. This opens it up toward the audience and creates a 360-degree experience: guests stand not only in front of but also to the sides and behind the DJ—close up, right in the middle of the action, without losing the unique architecture of the concert shell.

Large-format LED screens ensure that the artists are clearly visible from every angle. Clean stage lines, modern lighting technology, and strategic visual accents create an immersive atmosphere and underscore the festival’s boutique character.

Light and sound are not an end in themselves, but part of a curated overall experience. They enhance the performance and turn every show into an intense, accessible experience—high-quality and unique in Wiesbaden’s Kurpark.
