The documentary "Schelmo Bruder" shows life in the Schelmengraben district of Wiesbaden and provides authentic insights into the challenges and stories of the residents. Personal portraits and interviews, including with the GWH housing association, make the social reality on the ground tangible. The central theme of the documentary is the tour through the empty shopping arcade, in which Shervin (27) shows which stores used to be there. Accompanied by music by local artist Maras (26), who is also part of the documentary, a multi-layered picture of the district emerges. The documentary also sees itself as a call for more visibility, a new togetherness and the revitalization of the shopping arcade.
