At Natourale - the Nature & Travel Festival - the most impressive films from the fields of nature, the environment, travel and tourism will once again be honored in Wiesbaden from December 2 to 6, 2026.

Golden Lion
The Natourale takes place every two years in Wiesbaden.

NATOURALE is a film festival dedicated to documentaries, feature reports, commercials, and narrative films in the fields of nature, the environment, travel, and tourism. Submitted films should document the beauty of our planet or highlight issues related to these topics. Films in the fields of tourism and travel receive special consideration if they advocate for sustainable and environmentally friendly tourism.

An international jury of experts awards prizes to the most impressive films of recent years in the fields of nature, the environment, travel, and tourism. This combination was chosen because a sustainable connection between these fields is becoming increasingly important for modern society.

The NTFF has its origins in the Wiesbaden Nature Film Nights. Two to three times a year, German nature and environmental filmmakers showcase their works here and engage in discussions with the audience. The great success of this event series has now motivated the organizers to take the next step, and with NATOURALE, they are now also giving international filmmakers the chance to present themselves to the audience in Wiesbaden, the capital of Hesse.

One of the venues is the Murnau Film Theater, where the winning films will be screened and awarded prizes.
