Easter vacation at Freudenberg Castle
During the Easter vacations from March 28 to April 12, Freudenberg Castle offers a colorful program for young and old - with a painting workshop, themed tours and an Easter walk.
Every day has a theme, an activity, and a special event. We regularly host public activities and guided tours focused on bees, fire, and spring, which all guests are welcome to join.
We’re doing it like the bees: We’ll spend the entire Easter break “through-lazing” with you! Because “through-lazing” is beekeeper slang for the time after winter, when the queen starts laying eggs again and the bee colony becomes active. It begins with a cleansing excursion to Freudenberg—leaving your habits behind to experience something new. Then come the first foraging flights, where wonder and amazement turn into understanding. And that includes lounging around to enjoy the beauty of the world with its many people, animals, flowers, and cherry trees—once the bees have pollinated them.
The Waldkiosk celebrates the start of the season and entices visitors with the first ice cream and the world’s best fries! The water feature also flows again on Freudenberg at Easter, inviting you to explore the element and splash around.
