Wiesbaden Photo Days - Talk
On August 30 at 5:30 pm, the Kunsthaus invites you to the DGPh Talk "Images for the Future? Which pictures?" as part of the 13th Wiesbaden Photo Days.
Photographic images usually show the past - what has already happened. But what perspectives do they open up for the future? Where do photographic images have an impact on the future - artistically, socially or documentarily?
Together with the artist Mika Sperling and Henner Flohr, head of the F.A.Z. picture editorial department, current trends in artistic and journalistic photography will be discussed. In addition to the question of a future for photographers, a look will be taken at what seems conceivable, possible and probable.
Photographing the future may be difficult - but shaping it with photography is not.
Moderator: Alexander Hagmann, Chairman of the Image Section of the German Photographic Society (DGPh)
Admission is free! No registration required.
