Wiesbadener Fototage - Artist Talk with Julius Schien
Photographer Julius Schien will be a guest at the Kunsthaus on August 31 at 2 p.m. as part of the Wiesbadener Fototage for an "Artist Talk". The topic is his long-term project "Rechtes Land".
Julius Schien has traveled all over Germany to document the scenes of right-wing violence. A selection of his long-term project "Rechtes Land" will be shown during the Wiesbadener Fototage at Kunsthaus Wiesbaden.
He talks to Daniel Oschatz about why the title of his project is provocative, why his pictures sometimes appear idyllic, why he photographs with a large-format analog camera and why he was overcome with tears in a patch of forest
