International Museum Day
To mark International Museum Day on Sunday, May 17, Wiesbaden's museums are also offering free admission, special tours and hands-on activities. This year's motto is "Museums uniting a divided world".
sam, Stadtmuseum am Markt
The sam, Stadtmuseum am Markt, is participating with free guided tours of the special exhibition "Tell Me About Europe!" as well as a journey through the traces of historic Wiesbaden that has since disappeared.
- Guided tour of the special exhibition: 11:30 a.m.
- Guided tour of the permanent exhibition: 2:30 p.m.
- Free admission, no registration required
Kunsthaus Wiesbaden
The Kunsthaus Wiesbaden is offering guided tours of the exhibition "Memory in Action: Marcelo Brodsky." Admission is free.
- Guided tours at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
- Focus on the culture of remembrance and photography

Various events are planned at the Museum Wiesbaden:

women's museum Wiesbaden
The Wiesbaden Women's Museum will be open from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on International Museum Day; admission is free.
- One-hour guided tour of the current exhibitions at 3 p.m.
