The Kunsthaus Wiesbaden invites you to the 24th Short Night of Galleries and Museums on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 7 pm to midnight. For the first time since the renovation of the old building, the studios will also be open to the public again.

The Kunsthaus Wiesbaden will participate in the “24th Short Night of Galleries and Museums” on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 7 p.m. to midnight. Visitors can view the exhibitions “Marcelo Brodsky – Memory in Action” and “Rosa Winkel”. As homosexuals persecuted in the Buchenwald and Mittelbau-Dora concentration camps," and gain insight into the Artothek, where approximately 4,000 works of art from the city’s art collection are available for loan. The Artothek team will explain how the loan process works that evening and will be available to answer questions.
After eight years of renovation, the historic building of the Kunsthaus reopened its studio complex in September 2025. The fourteen artists—Juan David Bermúdez, Mareike Buchmann, Angela Cremer, Giacomo Frey, Lukas Gartiser, Anne-Louise Hoffmann, Danbi Jeung, Johanna Kiefer, Midia Omriko, Cornelia Rößler, Anna Schimkat (scholarship recipient of the Bellevue-Saal Artists’ Association), Christiane Steitz, Daniel Stier, and Christine Straszewski—will open their studios and invite visitors to tour and engage in conversation.
“Fasan Feinkost” will provide the culinary offerings. Here, visitors can enjoy Afghan specialties. The cozy courtyard of the Kunsthaus on Schulberg invites visitors to linger when the weather is nice.
