After a successful premiere last year, local artists are once again opening their studios to the public on June 14 and 15 from 1 pm to 7 pm. The "Open Studios on the Rhine" event is entering its third round and offers art lovers the opportunity to discover the places where art is produced. "Open Studios on the Rhine" is an annual event that brings together local artists and art lovers. It offers a unique opportunity to explore the creative spaces of art production, view works and purchase them directly on site. The event enriches the cultural life of the region and promotes the local art scene.

A total of 13 artists in nine different studios will be taking part in the event. Visitors can expect a wide range of art forms - from painting, drawing and caricature to material paintings, objects/object and digital art, photography, collage and installations.

The participating studios include those of Veronika Fass in Kastel, Renate Reifert, Uta Grün, Christa Sturm and Annette Scharner in Biebrich. Anna Bieler, Patricia SantÀna Scheld, Roman Mikos, Bernd Schneider and Mike Wosnitzka at ATELIEReins in Biebrich and Anke Rohde, Wolfgang Blanke and Berthe Knieriem in Schierstein are also taking part.

Visitors have the opportunity to put together their own route according to the current flyer map and experience an exciting weekend by bike, bus, car or on foot along the Rhine.

The project is supported by the Cultural Office of the City of Wiesbaden and the Biebrich local council.
