International Museum Day
International Museum Day will take place this year on Sunday, May 17, 2026. The theme is "Museums Unite a Divided World."
In keeping with this theme, the City Museum is presenting the traveling exhibition “Tell Me About Europe!”
As part of the special exhibition, the sam is offering a free, public guided tour at 11:30 a.m.
Which places, buildings, and squares were once distinctive and prominent in Wiesbaden but have since disappeared? In this guided tour of the museum’s permanent exhibition at 2:30 p.m., we’ll search for traces of a Wiesbaden that no longer exists today. Admission is free here as well.
No registration is required, but the number of participants is limited for each tour.
