As an educational venue in the heart of Wiesbaden, the sam – Stadtmuseum am Markt invites all visitors to explore and discover. From the Stone Age to the present day, the permanent exhibition on the city’s history covers a wide range of topics. The rotating special exhibitions also continually offer new thematic insights to explore.
Whether you’re a group of any age, a school class, a family, hosting a children’s birthday party, or organizing after-school care: through our educational programs, we aim to provide engaging and interactive ways to explore the city’s history and past ways of life. We strive to welcome everyone; the sam is a place for encounters and exchange. Individual wishes, needs, and areas of focus can be discussed and tailored during a joint consultation.
