MÄCK HON BÄND

For the first time, a singer/songwriter will open the literature festival in Wiesbaden: On Wednesday, July 2, MÄCK HON BÄND will play at 8 p.m. with free admission at Villa Clementine.

Three men with hats

The musician collective around Marcus "Mäck" Horn combines handmade acoustic music with poetic German lyrics and grooving rhythms.

The MÄCK HON BÄND - that's singer and guitarist Marcus "Mäck" Horn, bassist
Hans Bender and cajon drummer Paul Maré. Together they create songs that tell
tell stories and capture moods. Deeply rooted in jazz, blues,
Funk and Rock'n'Roll, Mäck Horn creates expressive music with German lyrics - sometimes melancholic, sometimes full of lightness.

The literature festival starts at 6 p.m. with a reading of the autobiographical novel "Radio Sarajevo" by Tijan Sila. The five-day open-air festival is taking place for the fifth time in Wiesbaden and, as usual, admission is free. For the first time, it will be held in the middle of the city: Around 25 readings, talks and theater specials are planned.

Under the motto "Into the Open - Fiction Fears Nothing", former head of cultural affairs Rita Thies is coordinating the network of diverse cooperation partners.
