The focus will be on breaking battles, including a 4 vs. 4 Crew Battle and a 2 vs. 2 Kids Battle, with an international jury, renowned DJs and prize money totaling 3,000 euros. In addition to the competitions, the event offers free dance workshops and a panel discussion on the topics of hip-hop, democracy and equality. The event will conclude with an after-party in the Kesselhaus, which will be played by a DJ collective from Munich.

Move For Freedom is aimed at anyone interested in dance, culture and social cohesion - and creates an open space in which diversity, creativity and solidarity take center stage.

The event is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education, Family, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth as part of the federal program "Live Democracy!" as well as by the Wiesbaden Youth Forum, the Wiesbaden Cultural Office, the Wiesbaden Office for Social Work and the Southeast Wiesbaden Local Advisory Council. The event is also supported by and8dance, ctc-events, Naspa Wiesbaden, the Lions Club Wiesbaden Neroberg, the Wiesbaden Foundation and the Kulturzentrum Schlachthof e.V.
