Early music on original instruments.
Julia Huber-Warzecha and Silke Volk (baroque violin), Daniela Wartenberg (baroque violoncello) and Christian Pfeifer (harpsichord and chest organ) play in the baroque ensemble Incontro.
Incontro a Venezia (Meeting in Venice) was the name of the ensemble's first program, and it also provided the name: Incontro. The process of meeting plays a central role in two respects. On the one hand, musicians who are friends meet to prepare lively concerts in an inspiring rehearsal process. Secondly, the programs bring together well-known and lesser-known baroque composers and their outstanding chamber music.
Since 2007, numerous themed programs with rarely performed works have been developed and performed. The CD Incontro was released in 2021.
