The ensemble currently has two concert programs with the formation Siwistri goes Poetry with Sonja Beling (recorders/vocals/dance), Kerstin Heid (guitar) and Katharina Jäschke (scenic reading, voice, poetry):
In the program Frida Kahlo, striking stages of the Mexican artist are outlined, her own texts and poems are framed by modern dance and music by South American composers, as well as self-arranged Mexican folklore.
In the program Water, Words and Music, the ensemble has been inspired by water places in Wiesbaden, in keeping with the proclaimed Year of Water. In addition to the fascination and description of the beauty of water, questions of the present with regard to the appreciation and our handling of water also run through the program. The staged reading is complemented and enhanced by music from the Baroque era to the present day and expressive dance.
In addition to the concert program, the duo Siwistri (recorders/guitar) will develop the following program Masques and Lovesongs with English and Spanish music from the 16th and 17th centuries in the footsteps of Shakespeare - music and texts from the Elizabethan era.
