Duo Sonoreno, founded in 2023, consists of cellist Marlene Siemes and pianist Benjamin Reiter, both teachers at the Wiesbaden School of Music and Art, who play classical chamber music works for this instrumentation and present their pieces to an audience. In addition to great works, the duo also has an eye for lesser-known repertoire.
The two artists named themselves after their Rhenish origins and their joint search for an exciting and balanced sound.
