Rock music is a style of music that has developed since the late 1960s from the blending of rock 'n' roll from the late 1950s and early 1960s with other styles of music such as beat music and blues. The line-up of rock bands traditionally consists of electric and/or acoustic guitars, electric bass, drums and vocals. This line-up is often supplemented by piano and keyboards such as Hammond organ and synthesizer.
