Rheingau Music Festival: Dee Dee Bridgewater
This year's focus jazz artist Dee Dee Bridgewater will be giving an open-air concert in the Kurpark on Saturday, July 19, at 7:30 p.m. - an evening of jazz and blues, lush R&B and deep soul!
Dee Dee Bridgewater is one of the great entertainers on the international jazz scene with her powerful voice and abundant performing talent. Her passion for music, dance and acting was passed on to her by her mother and grandmother, and so it is also important to her to make music together with up-and-coming jazz talents and pass on her experience.
As part of the mentoring program "The Woodshed Network", which she founded, she also took jazz singer Kennedy under her wing, who now brings her energetic voice and appearance to every stage as the front woman of the Kennedy Administration from New York. Together with the Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt under Angelo Valori's direction, the two singers, who hold each other and their music in high esteem, showcase their entire artistic spectrum of jazz, blues, rich R'n'B and deep soul.
The concert takes place as an open-air event in all weathers. The seating is not covered. Animals are not permitted on the event grounds.
