The Truly Yours Tattoo Fest is a two-day cultural festival taking place on June 6 and 7—a collaboration between Truly Yours and the Schlachthof.

The focus is on tattoo art, subculture, and interdisciplinary creativity. International tattoo artists will present their work, engage in dialogue with other forms of artistic expression, and transform the Schlachthof into a vibrant space for modern tattoo culture.

A diverse supporting program of performances, exhibitions, readings, and lectures broadens the perspective beyond body art alone and creates new artistic connections. The festival’s goal is to highlight tattoo art as a serious form of cultural expression, reposition it within the context of various artistic disciplines, and facilitate exciting dialogues between international artists, local contexts, and urban aesthetics.

The blend of trade fair, art exhibition, and cultural program creates a festival that appeals equally to art enthusiasts, subculture scene-goers, and the curious urban population.

The first edition in 2024 in Mannheim was already a resounding success: over 1,500 visitors, consistently positive media coverage, and an enthusiastic response. The festival was organized out of pure passion—by a core team consisting of Thomas Haug and Clemens Hahn, supported by dedicated volunteers who poured their hearts and souls into making the project a reality.

For 2026, Truly Yours will be further developed and taken to a new level: more artistic, more connected, more visible. The goal is to establish the festival as a permanent fixture in Wiesbaden’s cultural landscape and to bring together the regional and international tattoo scenes.
