Christmas concert with Kurstadt Ukuladys
On Sunday, December 21, the "Kurstadt Ukuladys" will be performing in Igstadt at the Kladderadatsch restaurant. The women's band will give a Christmas concert with atmospheric ukulele music.
"For body and soul - ukulele" - six women from Wiesbaden have dedicated themselves to this slogan, which aptly describes the magic of the ukulele. As the "Kurstadt Ukuladys", they have been delighting audiences since 2021 with their great joy of playing and their special passion for acoustic ukulele music with soulful vocals.
The "Kurstadt Ukuladys" are not restricted to a specific genre, they cover a wide range of music. The musical spectrum ranges from hits from the 1920s to gypsy swing, Beatles songs, oldies from the 1960s and 70s, country songs, French songs and current pop songs.
For the performance in Igstadt on Sunday, December 21, from 6 p.m. in the Kladderadatsch, the "Kurstadt Ukuladys" have included a selection of atmospheric Christmas songs in their program - in keeping with the Advent season.
