To mark the 40-year partnership between the state of Hesse and the Chinese province of Jiangxi, the traditional Chinese music ensemble from the Jiangxi Song and Dance Theatre in Nanchang will perform typical Chinese folk music as well as well-known melodies from Chinese film and television productions. In addition, a trio from the "Cultur Center of Longnan" will present various Hakka folk songs with singing and dancing.

The festive program will be rounded off with the exhibition "Intangible Hakka Culture of South Jiangxi", which can be viewed in the Galli Theater on 9 September from 5 pm.
