But that’s not funny at all. Figaro Fusi, the barber, is persuaded by the gray gentlemen to save time, and suddenly he has none left. Even his joy in cutting hair and curling locks has simply vanished.

And the barber isn’t alone with this problem. Everyone is rushing back and forth. No one stops for a minute or daydreams for even a second. The Little Men are the time thieves, mysterious and silent. Momo has seen them. After all, the girl lives alone in a castle ruin. Together with Master Hora, the street sweeper, and the turtle Cassiopeia, Momo goes on many adventures in search of lost time.

The fairy-tale novel "Momo" was published in 1973 and has been completely reimagined for the screen in 2025.

The turbulent yet poetic production with live music by artistic director and director Wolfgang Vielsack, as well as the enchanting atmosphere of the over 800-year-old Sonnenberg Castle, will once again captivate everyone.
