Infobox Culture & Culture.Guide
The Infobox Kultur and the Kultur.Guide are being launched in Wiesbaden. The aim is to make the diversity of the local cultural scene even more visible.
The heart of the project is a strikingly designed container, which is set up at changing, highly frequented locations in the historic pentagon - the "Infobox Culture". Digital posters and event information from Wiesbaden's cultural scene are displayed on large monitors on the outside wall. At each Infobox location, there will be an 8x4 meter action area that can be booked by local cultural professionals for performances and presentations.
From Thursday, August 28, the Culture Info Box can be found in Kirchgasse (pedestrian zone), in the section between Luisenstrasse and Rheinstrasse. On September 10, the info box will move to Mauritiusplatz for two weeks. Luisenplatz, Kranzplatz and Dern'sche Gelände are currently planned as further locations for the cultural presentations.
Digital "Culture.Guide"
At the same time, the digital "Kultur.Guide" goes online. At www.kultur.guide, an editorially supervised online directory is created that bundles information on programs, venues and cultural institutions and links to the websites of the actors. Passers-by can access the digital portal directly via QR codes on the info box. Access is of course also possible from all other end devices.
Cultural professionals who would like to use the action area at the info box for their own appearances and performances should contact kulturguideeibescom Event information can also be sent to this address for inclusion in the "Kultur.Guide".
The project goes back to an initiative of the Cultural Advisory Board to increase the visibility of Wiesbaden's culture, in particular to strengthen independent and smaller initiatives.
