Brief description: What is it about?
The exhibition "HOCHHEIM:WEINFESTSELIG" opens with a look at the history, traditions, and future of the Hochheim Wine Festival. Historical photographs and personal stories connect the festival’s past and present.
The exhibition is part of the SCHAUKASTEN:STADT project—a participatory, digital platform where citizens can contribute their own content. Photographs, videos, audio recordings, and texts broaden perspectives on the city and make history tangible as something that emerges collectively and is constantly evolving. The exhibition combines these contributions with curated content from the collections of the Hochheim museums and the Historical City Archives.
The opening offers the opportunity to immerse oneself in the exhibition for the first time and to engage in a conversation about the significance of the wine festival today. At the same time, it marks the start of an accompanying program featuring guided tours, workshops, and participatory activities during the wine festival.
