WDC Pavilion: Wiesbaden

From June 24 to July 12, 2026, the WDC Pavilion: Wiesbaden will be located at Kochbrunnenplatz - as an open space for design and living democracy.

The WDC Pavilion: Wiesbaden will then be located at the Kochbrunnen.

A space that travels with us and changes with every encounter: Since April, WDC 2026 has been sending its mobile pavilion on a tour of the region. From June 24 to July 12, 2026, it will be stationed at Kochbrunnenplatz in Wiesbaden—as an open space for creativity and active democracy. Here, initiatives take center stage, school classes use the pavilion as an extended learning space, and the city is actively reflected upon in workshops and spontaneous encounters.

During its stay in Wiesbaden, citizens can look forward to a diverse program, including a residency from the Constructlab network. Starting with the experimental question of whether coffee can be brewed using water from the Kochbrunnen, Lucas Devolder, Juul Prinsen, and Anco de Jonge explore the themes of energy generation, hospitality, and well-being in public spaces.

All offerings at the WDC Pavilion are free of charge and designed to be accessible, ensuring broad social participation.
