Opening of WerkRaum Wiesbaden: A new place for urban society, design and participation
Celebrate the opening of WerkRaum Wiesbaden with Nosa Rap (Hiphop|Rap), a fashion show (Wiesbaden Dreh dein Ding) and numerous other actors from Wiesbaden and the region on Saturday, May 2.
Saturday, May 2, 2026 | 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. All-day opening of WerkRaum Wiesbaden in the former SportScheck department store | Langgasse 5-9
As part of World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026, the WerkRaum will serve as an open forum for WDC projects, dialogue initiatives, and events from May 2 to October 31, 2026. The sam – Stadtmuseum am Markt will participate with individual events and the "Gläsernes Museum."

- 2:00 p.m. Guided tour of the exhibition “CONSUMPTION and ME – From Department Store to Shopping App.” A project by Janine Seitz, futurist and consumer expert
- 3:00 PM “Wiesbaden Dreh Dein Ding”: Fashion show featuring secondhand clothing
