The Wiesbaden Music & Art School (WMK) offers music lessons for all age groups - from toddlers to adults - in the heart of Wiesbaden.
About WMK
Founded in 1991 through the merger of the Wiesbaden Conservatory and the Günzel Music Seminar.
Second largest music school in the state of Hesse
Located on Schillerplatz with 50 modern classrooms, rehearsal and concert halls and various branches, including the KEMP (Klangräume Elementare Musikpädagogik) in Luisenstraße, as well as numerous schools and daycare centers.

Instrumental and vocal lessons: Individual lessons in almost all styles. In addition to individual lessons, students enjoy an extensive range of ensemble and supplementary subjects.

PreCollege - promoting young talent
Since 2024/2025, the WMK has been offering a PreCollege program for talented students together with the WMA (Wiesbaden Music Academy).
The aim is to promote outstanding artistic skills and general personal development. In addition to musical and technical skills, professional knowledge and methodical approaches are taught in the respective major and minor subject (instrument or voice) as well as in the supplementary theoretical and academic subjects.

Accessibility at the Wiesbaden Music & Art School
The building at Schillerplatz 1-2 is accessible via an automatic door opener.
The classrooms on the ground floor, the studio, and the orchestra rehearsal room are barrier-free. The classrooms from the 1st to the 4th floor are accessible via the passenger elevator (raised profile lettering).
The classrooms in the basement and in the side building (Friedrichstraße 16) are accessible via the Kulturforum entrance (Friedrichstraße 16). Please contact us in advance at wmkwiesbadende or on 0611 – 313032 / 0611-313039.
Alternatively, the classrooms in the side building can be accessed via Schillerplatz 1-2 and the administration wing on the 3rd floor.
A wheelchair-accessible toilet is located on the 1st floor (old building), Schillerplatz 1-2, and in the Kulturforum, Friedrichstraße 16. All other toilets on the basement floor, 1st floor, 2nd floor, and 4th floor are barrier-free.
Our KEMP (Klangräume Elementare Musikpädagogik) branch at Luisenstraße 26, 1st floor, is accessible via automatic doors and an elevator.

Accessibility in the Kulturforum - Event room
The Kulturforum can be accessed barrier-free via Friedrichstraße 16. People with disabilities can attend events from the gallery, so that they do not have to use the stairs. In addition, there is barrier-free access to the auditorium via a passenger elevator. Please speak to staff on site or register in advance at kulturforumwiesbadende or 0611-313035.
The Kulturforum is equipped with a disabled toilet on the gallery level.
The Wiesbaden School of Music and Art would like to remove further barriers in the future. Among other things, the installation of barrier-free doors at the entrance to the Kulturforum and to the restrooms is planned in the near future.
