Wiesbaden Music Academy
The Wiesbaden Music Academy (WMA) is the vocational academy for music education in the state capital of Wiesbaden. Its roots go back to the founding of the Wiesbaden Conservatory in 1888.
Since 1991, the WMA has been an independent institution under municipal sponsorship, and since 2012 it has offered the internationally recognized Bachelor of Music (Music Education) degree.
Bachelor of Music - Music Education
The dual study program combines theory and practice and prepares students for a career in instrumental and vocal pedagogy as well as elementary music education.
- Study program: Teaching by around 50 experienced lecturers, close cooperation with the Wiesbaden Music and Art School (WMK), practical phases with work shadowing and own lessons.
- Qualification: The course complies with German university standards and is structured according to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).
- Start: After passing the aptitude test every year in the winter semester.
